HTC DESIRE Z REVIEW

The HTC Desire Z seems like the perfect phone to me. I have been due an upgrade on my handset for over a year now but all thats been released is touchscreen after touchscreen handset, and I HATE touchscreens!

At long last HTC have stepped up to create a touchscreen / QWERTY keyboard hybrid which has caught my eyes to say the least.

HTC released the full details about the Desire Z at a press conference in London not so long ago, and I’ve got to admit i’m really excited!

UPDATE: I have now recieved my HTC Desire Z and I’ve fallen in love!!!!!

HTC Desire Z Review

Now I have had an oppertunity to play around with the Desire Z I can honestly say this is the best mobile phone I have ever used. As a die hard Blackberry addict, I never thought I could be converted but the combinition of the large touchscreen, qwerty keyboard and the latest version of Android has made this a dream handset.

Full Keyboard
I know I keep going on about it, but the best feature for me is the full QWERTY keyboard. Its comfortable to use and the keys are all seperate which helps when typing out long messages at speed. It includes a few customisable buttons to help you launch applications quickly as well.

Stunning Design
Come on, admit it, you can’t stop looking at the pictures of the phone and the video of how it opens and shuts. The handset has a sturdy feel to it and can certainly deal with the knock and bumps of everyday life.

5MP Digital Camera
Similar to the older HTC Desire, the Desire Z packs a 5 megapixel digital camera complete with autofocus and flash. Its capable of capturing sharp images with very little shutter delay.

HTC Fast Boot
A lot of people complain about how long it takes their phones to start up, and this is a common problem with nearly every smartphone out there. However HTC have created ‘Fast Boot’ which will have you up and running in a breeze!
